A blur

This past week seems to have gone by so fast, I don’t know what I did. Jack was off nursery with a tummy bug – which everyone but me has had! phew! Went shopping a few days but really not don’t anything of great excitement.

We spent all weekend building the boys bunkbeds, and this morning the house still looks like a total mess.
The bunks were a nightmare to build – we spent 8 hours on Saturday building them! Yes 8 bloody-long hours! Trying to build two beds in a small bedroom wasn’t fun in the slightest, I had to empty the whole room and put the stuff in our room and the livingroom.

In the picture the only exception is the bottom bunk – the livingroom and our bedroom still pretty much looks that way.

That is what causes me so much stress, working hard to clear stuff only to not see much difference. I have about 4 boxes of junk to go to the charity shop and 2 bags of clothes, so once they are gone I will see some space – I hope. And obviously the mattress in the livingroom floor (where Lee and I have slept the last two nights) will be going to the tip at some point today or tomorrow at the very latest!

There is just so much stuff in this house – toys and books mostly – with no where to keep it all.

Jack will be back to nursery this afternoon, then I am waiting on our food shop being delivered so hope to try get stuff done whilst running about after Max and Lucy.

Wish me luck!
