Holidays are meant to be relaxing.

Well we are home from a few days away and boy am I glad to see my own bed!

We headed down on Tuesday morning, we were supposed to be there for 10am, but as usual that didn’t happen -in fact we didn’t actually leave until just after 10am!

Lee had a car boot of photography stuff to empty for his shoot on the Monday and then we had to pack what seemed like everything but the bloody kitchen sink! I swear the amount of the stuff we had to take for 4 days was just unreal.

We eventually arrived about lunchtime, and it was glorious sunny weather so we spent most of the afternoon in the garden.  Maxi has fun exploring in the garden whilst Jack played football with Granda and Nana.

Later on Maxi decided to run right into the corner of the dining room table when it was coming up for bedtime, he was running away from me as he didn’t want his nappy changed. He got a corker of a lump instantly, and wee hole. Poor guy – he was alright and just a bit shocked I guess, but we kept an eye on him abd when he got up the next morning the lump had gone down and the wee hole was scabbing already.

The weather turned on Wednesday and Thursday and suffice to say we didn’t do anything. On Wednesday nana took Jack out whilst Lee and I took Max and Lucy to the shops – we needed to get some more food stuff and I also had to ger my hands on some girlie products as likes to call them.
My first period since getting the coil and it was a bitch! Never cramped or bled so much on a period – ever! That’s another story…

Anyway, Thursday nana took jack out again this time on a wee train called bunty. It was miserable weather so the rest of us stayed. Lee did some work whilst I just read whilst Max and Lucy slept.

Then it was home on Friday. So for all it was short and we didn’t do anything, it was good to get away for a few days. But there is nothing like coming home to your own bed, your own sleeping arrangements for the kids etc.
