[Review] Pregnancy planner app

I was provided with this app in return for my honest opinion. All opinions are 100% my own.

I was given an opportunity to review a pregnancy app that is available on iTunes and being pregnant and the geek that I am I jumped at the chance 🙂

The pregnancy planner app, does exactly what it says on the tin and it is really simple to use as well.

When you start the app it asks for your due date which you can specify by date, lmp or conception – what ever is known – and it is really easy to change later on if you need to amend it once seeing the midwife for your dating scan.

Then it takes you to the screen above. I loved the little second, minutes, days ticker that shows under the weeks 🙂
If you click on the pic of the baby it takes you to an information page telling you all about what to expect for that particular week for yourself as well as baby.

Baby names:

One thing that that this app does that other apps I have tried doesn’t, is have a wee section for you put your baby name ideas:

It is so easy to add and delete names, and it’s a great way to keep track of those names you like, if you are anything like me I just kept going over the same names, so being able to add them to my name’s list and check if I had said it was a great addition to the app in my opinion.

Once we had narrowed it down to the boy and girl names we loved the most it was easy to delete the others off the list.

Tips & Questions:

The tips & questions section is also good and full of useful bits and pieces. It also has a checklist of everything you need for your hospital bag, which you can check off as you go. Personally this is great feature for me as despite having two kids already, I still forget what I need to pack 🙂

My verdict:

I enjoyed this app and the features were perfect for my needs, I honestly can’t fault it one bit. It provides you with all the information week by week, you can easily share your progress to the usual places – Facebook, Twitter and email.

The only downside is that it is only available on the iPhone/iPad/iPod I’m not sure if it or when it will be released on Android, but hope so 🙂
