We had wee Fletch’ no3 20 week scan today!

One thing I love about being pregnant ( and there are a few things) is getting the scans.  Think I was spoiled with Max as I got quite a few more than the standard 12wk and 20wk ones due to Jacks birth weight.

Anyhow, todays scan went well. The bubba isn’t breech! Which I am very surprised at, as I did expect it to be seeing as the boys were from the word go. So that is a nice surprise not that it makes any difference to my birth plan as it is still an automatic c-section.

Everything is looking good, and measuring as it should, though the sonographer couldnt get some of the  measurements she needed due to the way it as lying! Typical lol She did hover about the bum area but it had it’d legs tight shut with it’s wee ankles crossed so she couldn’t see anything to even give us a hint as to what we are having – the hospital doesn’t actually tell you anyway, but she was really nice and think she would have given us a wee hint of she could see clearly.

So because she didn’t get to measure/see some stuff clear enough I am having to get another scan done 9th October.  Not that I am complaining, and I am hoping I get the same woman again, to maybe get a wee hint.

Either way it doesn’t matter as on the 12 October we are getting our gender scan anyway.

Part of me thinks it might be a wee girl as this pregnancy is totally different and the scans as well. The boys both had the same profile, and both breech ( I know that goes for nothing) but this wee one just looks different profile wise and it is in the right position!

Can’t wait to find out so I can finally know! We have names all picked out this time easily for either but or girl – and once we know for sure I can refer to it by name rather than “it” or “bubba”.
