Do you ever get to the point where you feel you are burnt out and need a break?

Well I am kinda like that at the moment, I think it is finally setting in that in a few short months we are going from two kids to three!

Having said that I doubt we will get a break between now and the baby’s birth – and we definitely wont get a break without the kids being there with is that is for sure.

It did get me thinking though about taking a break in the UK that we can go to next year that would be family friendly etc and I really fancy going to a holiday park. Before you laugh at me, caravan parks and holidays have come up in the world form the days gone by, and are pretty much luxury nowadays, and I have really fond memories of going away with my Gran and Papa when I was wee in the caravan:)

I remember they gave up their touring one and got a static on at this lovely camp site down in the Boarders.

Or there is renting a cottage like what we do when we meet up with family at Castle Cottage. There are some stunning places up north that I would love to spend a weekend or week at.

I think holidaying abroad is pretty much out of our league at the moment – especially with three kids – financially wise, at least for a few years! But one place that I am looking forward to saving up to go to is Disney Land 🙂 I cant wait to take the kids there, it is going to be  amazing to see their faces.

But like I said trying to get a wee break away without the kids is going to be near impossible, though I keep looking on those deal sites to see if even we can get a one night stay somewhere and have nana look after the boys.

Maybe I should have asked for that for my birthday after all!
