Blogging with Brands

Disclosure; Kinky-Cherries.com: This is a “sponsored post.” The company who sponsored it compensated me via a cash payment, gift, or something else of value to write it. Regardless  all opinions expressed are 100% my own.

I have to admit that I don’t really have that much experience when it comes to blogging about brands, but I do think that the figure of 71% is pretty accurate. I guess you really would only want to endorse brands that you thought were reputable as you wouldn’t want to be seen to write about ones that had a bad reputations.

What little brand posts that I have done in the past, have been written about companies that I generally have a good feel for and have used several of their products enough to warrant them being reputable to me, but then everyone is different right?

A brand that I might find to be reputable others might have had bad experience with.  Having said that, since I have had very little brand experience in the blogging sense,  I would give all brands a chance to see how reputable they are.

How about you? Do you fall into the 71% who only write about brands that you think are reputable?

  1. I agree about giving all brands a chance. It could be one bad experience ruins it for some people. I try to work with companies that work for me. These may not all be companies that everyone loves, but they are ones that for whatever reason are places I chose.

  2. I am definitely one of the bloggers who work with only brands that are reputable. I am always honest when I review because I would hate to allude my readers into believing something that’s false. I believe I have a duty to them to be truthful, and therefore won’t work with a brand that I think is iffy.

  3. Not only do I think it’s important to give things a chance, but I also think that bloggers need to write their opinions even if those opinions are negative. Perhaps ESPECIALLY if this is the case!
