oopsie

Well I seem to have been enjoying motherhood too much to post lol

Seriously, I have been enjoying spending time with Jack these last 3 months. I do miss the whole working environment, and interacting with other adults. But this is the best time in his life for me to spend with him.

He is changing nearly every single day – his word count is going through the roof. The other day he came out with “get out of my life!” where the hell he got that from I have no idea…

I have managed to get him into a local Day Nursery on a supportive placement, having PND has is uses. He is in for two afternoons on a Mon and Thursday. Gives me that much needed few hours to myself to get stuff done around the house.

In 2 months time my little monster will be 3 years old! And boy can I tell you its scary how quick the years are going by. We are talking about possibly having another baby preferable before the wee man goes to school when is 5 years old so time is ticking for that to happen.

But we are in a tight spot money wise being down to one wage. We are now struggling every month, but we are getting by just I suppose. Everyone has money problems so I know we aren’t the only family to claim we are living on the breadline, but it is unbelievably hard to curb your spending on food when you already have cut back to the bare essentials as it is.

One of the biggest money stealer’s is nappies for Jack. We are potty training him at the moment but not very successfully. I think I will just stop putting them on him and just put up with change of clothes until he gets the hang of it. He is starting to get dry during the night provided he doesn’t drink before bedtime.

Guess we will just have to see how it goes….
