Weekend wrap-up

  • headed off to Newcastle Friday afternoon
  • Had a nice dinner Friday night with Lee’s mam and Mike
  • Dawn (sister-in-law to be) got married Saturday
  • Was dancing the night away until 12am – actually got Lee on the dance floor.
  • headed home on the Sunday afternoon had to return Lee’s Kilt before pm

So yeah in a nutshell that is what I got up to at the weekend =)

The wedding went well and the ceremony was really nice. It was an overcast day but the sun came out for the photos so that was good. We had to be a the church first as Lee was an Usher and had to direct people to bride or groom side. Everyone was doting on me at the church over my bump and I have to admit even though I had a bump I pulled my dress off pretty well and felt sexy =)

After the ceremony we head off to the reception when Lee was taking everyone and anyone’s’ photos for Dawn to put into her quest book. After the buffet dinner the music came on and I cant believe it that I actually got Lee up on the dance floor several time =)

He was the only guy there wearing a Kilt and I was loving it – he pulls off the kilt fabulously 😉 lol

I actually lasted until about midnight then had to call it a night – I was so tried the little one was active and my ankle was killing me from wearing heels. Guess its still not fully ready to be in heels yet =(

We were staying at the hotel where the reception was and our room was gorgous and the bed was sooooo soft. It was yet again a twin room! What is it with us always getting twin bedded rooms! Any way turn out they were pretty much twin double beds so we well managed to squeeze into one now problem 😉

all in all had a great weekend was good to see Lee’s family again and they we were all impressed with the bump and the fact that they were going to have a great-grandson, grandson, nephew.

Will post pics up on flickr and facebook soon.
