The results are back

Seems like forever since I got my bloods taken for Downs and Spina Bifida.

Today my world cam crashing down – well kinda – I got a letter stating that I am being re-called for a more in depth ultrasound to check the babies spine for Spina Bifida. Apparently I had an appointment for 4pm today but I didn’t get the letter until quite late this afternoon so obviously didn’t make it. Couldn’t call either as they close at 4:30pm.

Honestly!

I cant help but feel upset and only hope to god that my blood was a little skew viffy that day and everything is ok, but wont know until I get this scan done. Will call first thing tomorrow to see when I get another appointment hopfully for this week as Lee can drive me as I am pretty much outta driving for a few more days for sure.

I don’t want to think about the worst case until we go for it. One thing at least its not both I am being recalled back for so that’s one thing I guess, they say that for all the levels were high the % is still quite good that everything will be ok.

Just wanted to keep you all posted.

=(

Oh Fee, I’m sorry! I too hope everything is fine. I was trying to merge your names together to make a ‘juinor’ name, as we don’t know the sex yet, and decided that Lee and Fee were not a good set of names to mix as I kept giggling everytime I thought of “FLee” LOL So I decided on ‘Leeona’ That’s the best I could do. 🙂 Everything with Leeona will be ok.

*yes, I’m still giggling about “FLee” LOL*

lol Lee’s sister calles us FLee so we have right old giggle at that everytime we see her 😀 Love the Leeona take on our names, that one never occured to us – at least the bump can have an actual name for a few months now instead of “it” or “bump lol

Glad to be of service 🙂

and everything will be okay! Watch some tv or play WOW to get your mind off of it for now.
